The 50-employee threshold counts per site, meaning per building or unit, not per company. Calculate each site separately.
50%, rounded up
Above 50 employees, at least 50% of the employees at the site are trained by a certified first aid provider, every 3 years. Example: 101 employees, 51 people to train.
Groups of 7
Each group has 7 people, one instructor and one manikin. The number of groups is rounded up: 51 people, 8 groups.
4-hour sessions
Each session lasts 4 hours, with up to 5 groups in parallel if your space allows: 8 groups, 2 sessions.
