Environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria across every aspect of our operations
1. Purpose and commitment
The mission of PULSE GUARD Private Company is inherently social: we train people to save lives. We are committed to operating responsibly and sustainably, integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into every aspect of our operations. This Policy documents our commitments in writing and is publicly available.
2. Scope
This Policy covers all of the company's activities, personnel, instructors and partners, as well as our value chain, including subcontractors.
3. Environmental
- We limit our environmental footprint, with emphasis on reducing travel where feasible and using digital training materials instead of printed ones.
- We manage training equipment and consumables responsibly, with proper maintenance, reuse and lawful disposal/recycling at the end of their life cycle.
- We seek to reduce energy consumption and waste across our activities.
4. Social
- Health and safety: we comply with applicable health and safety legislation and place the safety of people at the centre of every service we provide.
- Fair labour: we offer fair employment terms and respect labour rights, in line with legislation and the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
- Child labour: we do not use and do not tolerate any form of child labour, in compliance with national legislation and international standards.
- Forced labour: we reject and work to eliminate any form of forced or compulsory labour.
- Non-discrimination and diversity: we promote an environment of equal opportunity, free from discrimination and respectful of diversity.
- Contribution to the community: through training in first aid, CPR and the use of defibrillators, we strengthen the resilience and safety of society.
5. Governance
- We operate with integrity and transparency and apply zero tolerance toward bribery and corruption, in accordance with our relevant Policy.
- We protect personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable law.
- We comply with all applicable legislation and regulatory requirements governing our activity.
6. Alignment with international standards and clients
We support and uphold internationally recognised principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. Where we work with clients that maintain their own ESG standards or Supplier Code of Conduct, we commit to align with and support them throughout the engagement.
7. Responsibility and review
The management of PULSE GUARD Private Company is responsible for implementing this Policy. The Policy is reviewed at least annually and updated whenever necessary to reflect developments in legislation and best practice.
