Training

The training includes both theoretical and practical components. You learn to recognize cardiac arrest, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Training follows ERC guidelines.

Basic CPR/AED training lasts 4-6 hours. Specialized programs (Bleeding Control, Trauma Management) can be customized to your needs.

Yes. Certificates are issued by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and are recognized throughout Europe and internationally.

Absolutely. On-site training is our specialty. We come to your location with full equipment, creating realistic scenarios adapted to your environment.

Our courses are primarily offered in Greek. Upon request, we provide training in English for international companies and multinationals. Training materials are available in both languages.

To ensure quality hands-on practice, we maintain a low instructor-to-trainee ratio: typically a maximum of 12 people per instructor. For larger groups, we provide additional instructors with no extra per-participant charge.

ERC certification is valid for 3 years. We recommend refresher training before expiry so staff competence and compliance with Law 5239/2025 are maintained.

AED Solutions

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that analyzes heart rhythm and delivers an electrical shock when needed to restore normal rhythm during cardiac arrest.

Legislation is constantly evolving. In many European countries, AEDs are already mandatory in public spaces, sports facilities, and large businesses. Contact us for current requirements.

AEDs are designed for use by anyone, even without training. They provide step-by-step voice instructions. However, with training, usage becomes more effective and faster.

Yes. The AED requires regular checks: battery replacement (typically every 4-5 years), electrode pad replacement (every 2 years or after use), and monthly visual inspection. We offer an annual maintenance contract that covers all requirements.

The contract includes: annual technical inspection, replacement of consumables (battery, electrodes) when needed, replacement of defective units under warranty, software updates, and 24/7 phone support.

Legal & Compliance

The law was published in 2025 and comes into full effect on January 1, 2026. A transition period is provided so businesses can adapt. We recommend starting preparation now to avoid fines and legal liability.

Fines range from €500 to €50,000 depending on the severity and duration of non-compliance. In the case of an incident where lack of training or absence of an AED is identified, liability can extend to criminal sanctions.

Maintain a file with the ERC certificates of trained employees, purchase and maintenance invoices for the AED, the monthly AED inspection log, and a declaration of compliance. PulseGuard provides all necessary documentation along with our training programs and AED solutions.
